Some Resources for Rhetorical Analysis

Here are some on-line resources for you to look at to get a better idea of how to go about a rhetorical analysis.

"Basic Questions for Rhetorical Analysis": a handout from Brigham Young University, Silva Rhetoricae.

"Rhetorical Analysis": Guideline questions created by Rebecca Moore Howard at Colgate University.

"A Rhetorical Analysis": a sample student analysis from someone at Syracuse University.  You might get some ideas about analysis based on the things he found "rhetorical" in his subject. You won't want to use his format as a "model" though since he is responding to a completely different assignment.
