English 101
Events
Local and campus happenings which should be of interest to you.
I am including cultural events, lectures, workshops, and other items.
You can choose to attend some of these events and write a journal
entry for the event in place of journal assignments. Check the announcements
page to see if any other arrangements for the event have been made in relation
to the course. Post your suggestions to the listserv.
Any event preceded by a "!" means I really really really
recommend the event to you for your success in the class. (All Writing
Skills Improvement Workshops are so marked!).
Make sure to check out the excellent University
of Arizona Master Calendar. This site lists just about everything
you can think of going on. And, you can go to the Tucson
Weekly for the about town haps.
